Washing Machine repair - your questions answered
How much does a washing machine repair cost?
Repairs start from £45, which includes the callout and diagnosis. Before any work begins we give you a clear, fixed quote for the part and labour - you only go ahead if you're happy with it.
Can you fix a washing machine that won't spin?
Yes - it's the most common fault we see. It's usually worn brushes, a faulty pump, a broken belt or a blocked filter. We carry the common spares on the van, so most spin faults are fixed on the first visit.
Is it worth repairing a washing machine, or should I replace it?
As a rule of thumb, if the machine is under 8 years old and the repair costs less than half the price of a new one, repair is the better value. We'll always tell you honestly if a repair isn't economical.
How quickly can you come out?
Call before midday and we'll aim to be with you the same day. Otherwise it's normally the next working day - we cover Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Caerphilly and the surrounding valleys.
